Rockwood
Pliocene/Pleistocene bone fossil most likely. I can't say what it may have been though. If the color lightens significantly when it dries it may be modern however. Edited March 21, 2021 by Rockwood
Partyjam3
Is there anyway to tell what it is?
val horn
i would do a burn test to see if it is fossilized. Current bone will burn and smell of burnt hair if exposed to a flame and a fossil will not burn. There is not a lot left of your bone to make a good id, more photos of all sides and a good size measurement will help though it may not be possible to get a sure id.
