Hi, i have this worn rock that i found in Calvados, Cretaceous or jurassic sediments. I was thinking it was a weathered echinoid at first but it does not really look like it. Any idea?

Maybe a trace fossil, a worm, because the ends of the lines goes into some small "caves"?

The symmetry is wrong for an echinoderm (4 'branches' vs. 5), and no central disc to go with the long 'arms', so I don't think it falls into that group.

I think it's a trace fossil or not a fossil at all. I think it also might be a plant, I wouldn't think it is but it is above the triassic... It's also important to say that I don't know much about any of these fossils.

Not plant - plants do not preserve this way.
