Ludwigia
We'll be driving up north in a few hours to visit my son in his newly-built abode close to the Baltic Sea. There may be a chance that I can check in on foreign computors every once in a while, but you nevertheless probably won't be hearing much from me for the next 10 days or so. I may also be able to do a couple of fossil hunts at the coast and maybe visit a museum, but we are mainly interested in seeing the grandchildren and tanking some sun at the beach. Talk to ya later. 4 Greetings from the Lake of Constance. Roger http://www.steinkern.de/

pachy-pleuro-whatnot-odon
Enjoy your holiday and grandchildren! As someone with kids whose grandparents live far away, I can only imagine how much both you and them are looking forward to this reunion. And some time at the beach never hurt anyone either 1 'There's nothing like millions of years of really frustrating trial and error to give a species moral fibre and, in some cases, backbone' -- Terry Pratchett
FossilDAWG
I hope the withdrawal symptoms aren't too bad. Have a great time with your family! That's time well spent, and an opportunity you can never get back if you miss it. The Forum will still be here when you return. Don

Ludwigia
Well, I'm back. Had a good visit and even found a couple of flint echinoids while walking the beach. Here are a few impressions. 7 Greetings from the Lake of Constance. Roger http://www.steinkern.de/
pachy-pleuro-whatnot-odon
Not a bad place to go vacationing by far! I never knew the Baltic Coast could be so charming! And not bad in terms of urchins either! 1 'There's nothing like millions of years of really frustrating trial and error to give a species moral fibre and, in some cases, backbone' -- Terry Pratchett
