2ynpigo
Bought this Dalmanites limulurus from George Heslep at the Tucson Show. Middle Silurian, Rochester Shale, Medina, New York. Been wanting one of these for a while. I think these are one of the coolest of the trilobites. Eyes have been glued back on. A crack in the slab has been glued back together to keep the matrix square (and thus pretty), but fortunately the crack didn't cut into the trilobite. Auspex
Choice acquisition For whatever reason, that species always makes me think of Kaiser Wilhelm... maybe it resembles a WWI German helmet somehow?
