Infidel
So, it was a weird weekend with lots of exploring, I think I found one fossil. But here's all the other cool stuff I found. If anyone can identify the skull that would be cool. And the metal crystals / pyrite. I made another post for the big ol bone. Not pictured, I found my first ever intact ammonite that I was able to extract in one piece. It's the size of a dinnerplate. Not in the best condition, but it's intact, and its all mine. I'll post pics of it later. Take it easy, but take it

Infidel
Cool stuff I really like that skull. Is that a racoon? Pretty good match with the skull I have. It's too elongated to be a cat/bobcat, and not toothy enough for an opposum or skunk. I was thinking small dog or ######. Here's the ammonite, nothing special, except it's the first I've found that didn't break into several pieces when I touched it. Take it easy, but take it
BobC
Actually, that ammonite is in great condition for a specimen coming out of this area. I usually find chunks! Good job!
