Deployment Of Illumination Sources Other Or Filtered Light (Blue Source)....

Has anyone explored or deployed other means to illuminate (ie such Blue Light or even U.V.)/ image fossils in an attempt to enhance or increase resolution ?

I will attach an example to illustrate... sometimes difficults to talk about something without pictures:

Subject = Insect Larval Cretaceous from Jehol Biota

Different levels of details are revealed with different lighting

Normal Visible Lighting about color about 6000 Kelvin 23watt CFL

U.V. Led Light Source 110 volts
