Rockwood Posted February 1, 2022 Share Posted February 1, 2022 I passed this by assuming it to be a cigarette butt. Later on @Lone Hunter handed it to me saying this looks like a cigarette butt. No. That's why I broke it off and collected it. To check under a lens. The rod shape makes me think it is most likely a trace fossil. The lining of them is often distinct.
