Hope yes, Dave. I've got a serious plans for coming sommer as for hunting. I'm going to explore not only tips but some outcrops outside Donetsk.

I think you've found Neuropteris tenuifolia , few pinnae are sharply differentiated at the base of the fronds....

Roman and Doc, great to start seeing your pictures again. Always spectacular and informative. Roman that really is one beautiful plate. You guys are indeed very lucky to have such definition in your specimens.

Hi flyguy784, thanks for your reply. I have no doubt Bruno is No1 as for quality and numbers of the best Carbon. plant fossils specimens. I have never seen better ones in Internet or nature. Hope I will find and share new things as well to be interested for forum friends.

Hello again Bruno, turns out my daughter(2nd year at Penn State)is doing her summer internship in Paris. It's a shame she's not interested in fossils. More a marketing/advertising design type.

Hi Roman

that mine (pit 11/19 from Lens) no operate ,closed and classified, the site is now a space communications , theater, entertainment, funny for this particular place, :(:( the heap is preserved ....the last mine in my aera closed in 1990 .
