Nipponites
Hello, I have these stingray teeth that I haven't been able to identify. I only know that they are from Khouribga phosphates (45-70mya). Any ideas? Thanks in advance!
digit
Not "stingray" in the way I know them--dasyatid teeth are individual tiny teeth with a pair of roots. These look to be myliobatid (eagle ray) teeth. If they were Miocene-Plio/Pleistocene, I'd call some of these Aetobatus because of the curve that seems to be there. https://www.google.com/search?q=aetobatus+teeth&tbm=isch For that age I'd consider them some form of myliobatid tooth. https://www.google.com/search?q=myliobatid+teeth&tbm=isch Hopefully, someone with more experience in the formation will be along with more authoritative info. Cheers. -Ken

Nipponites
Thank you very much! I had no idea about rays, will look at myliobatids from there.
