Frank Menser
Just picked up this Bird Beak from an Italian dealer who got it from Morocco. It measures about two inches. As an added attraction, note the fossilised bird doo on the other side... Be true to the reality you create.
Auspex
That came pretty fast! Coarse matrix on that one...careful if you try to prep it out any further. You can confidently label it "cf Lithoptila abdounensis". Frank Menser
Thanks There are some definite attempts at macocrystals (calcite) growing in this matrix which makes it even more interesting to prep. I think i'll leave it as is. Be true to the reality you create.
