I’m having some trouble identifying this one…

I presume it’s some sort of bivalve and it came off a gravel bar in Denton Creek (north of Fort Worth in the Duck Creek Formation) but I can’t seem to find any photo matches on the inter-webs to identify it.

Any thoughts on species?

Thanks

JohnJ, I think you may be right (or certainly on the right track)!  Definitely the closest thing I’ve seen so far.

Thanks for the help!
