Mondoubleau
Hi, I was recently in Normandy, I found this along the cliff between Omaha Beach and Arromanches. I know the rock in the area is Jurassic. I have no idea what that stone could be. It has a maximum thickness of 4 mm. Thank you
fossilhunter21
Welcome to TFF! Unfortunately this appears to be geologic. -Micah
Mondoubleau
Thank you very much ! Yesterday I sifted some Cenomanian clay that I collected on the way back and I found this small fossil measuring 7 mm. Whatever the identity of this fossil, the tissue seemed very irrigated. Could it be a coral?
