allquieton
Found near Canelo, Arizona, on a steep hillside. There are two separate rocks in the photos. One is about 3 inches long and the other about 7 inches. The rock is hard and brittle. It's quite unlike the rest of the rock in the area. I get the feeling if I threw it at the driveway it would shatter into several pieces. The spiderweb looking features are very delicate and some will crumble with strong thumb pressure. It was just a very curious looking rock and I was wondering if it might be a fossil.

Sjfriend
I do believe that it is geologic and not a fossil. Cool rocks!
Mark Kmiecik
Boxwork -- a collectible geological specimen. I'd keep it. 1 Mark. Fossil hunting is easy -- they don't run away when you shoot at them!
