Agos1221
Hello hive mind, Seeking species and location information on this fossil crab I acquired. It’s from an old shop stock that is probably over a decade old at least. I don’t see any signs of painting or fabrication else for some glueing here and there. Thanks! Agos1221
In my own searching I’m seeing a resemblance to portunites from the Oligocene but can’t confirm.

RJB
I was trying my hardest to think of what Washington crab that could be when I realized that the rock didnt look right for a Concretion from Lincoln Creek Formation. I see that @caterpillar simply spits out the name of a crab from Chile. Instantly realized that I have one sitting in my garage gettin dusty. I sometimes wish my brain would work better/faster. caterpillar
As long as your brain coordinates your hands well to clear crabs, you're fine 2 1 1 http://www.paleotheque.fr
