HeritageFossils
Here is a fun piece I picked up from the MAPS fossil show. It's a Dinohyus / Daeodon canine. At first I thought it was a spinosaur tooth until I took a closer look. I'm looking to get a few more of these, anyone have one? -YvW Next fossil auction: June 6th, 2010 - Beverly Hills, CA http://historical.ha.com/NaturalHistory/ Check out our auctions and past auctions! Guest Smilodon
Wow, where's that from? Those are rare. And inquiring minds would like to know which dealer had it? If you care to share.
HeritageFossils
@siteseer: the piece is from South Dakota I believe. @Smilodon: It wasn't a dealer, it was a collector getting rid of some stuff from his collection, he had gotten that piece over 20 years ago. Unfortunately I did not take down his name... hindsite. -YvW Edited March 31, 2010 by HeritageFossils Next fossil auction: June 6th, 2010 - Beverly Hills, CA http://historical.ha.com/NaturalHistory/ Check out our auctions and past auctions!
