legolizard
Another trip to a nice little spot I've found on the Trent River in Eastern North Carolina. My brother found the nice cow shark tooth which I've never seen come out of this spot before. Pleasant surprise, and some other nice fossils including a whale vertebrae & half of a shark vert.

Plax
Interesting combination of fossils. Must be near New Bern with that mix. The Anoxypristis? on the bottom of the last pic are probably from the Oligocene. Others look Neogene.
Fin Lover
Love the cow shark! 1 Fin Lover My favorite things about fossil hunting: getting out of my own head, getting into nature and, if I’m lucky, finding some cool souvenirs.

I agree with your dates as well, I've found megs and angustidens in the same spot.

I agree, likely from a lag deposit just upstream from New Bern that I have visited on a few occasions over the years. The look of the teeth seems very familiar.
