Is this a real fossil? I found this at Clio California at the shore of a "river" (It was a creek that people called a river for some odd reason).

Looks like a fuzzy rock to me. You'll need better focussed and detailed photos for a better response than mine.

So far it is looking like a geologic specimen to me. The lighting indoors is often not bright enough to get a good photo. Try again outside and you might end up with better lit and focused images.
