It is clearly wood. You can see the tree rings.

I saw them. I was told the trees there have no rings as the seasons don’t change on the equator. Suppose weather patterns were different millions of years ago.

I agree there are concentric features on one surface. I don't agree that they clearly represent tree rings.

If in person they can be followed in an expected way throughout the piece it likely is wood. Some tropical woods  are quite different from temperate woods. Wet and dry seasons often control the ring texture.

More photos in natural light would be nice to see.  Still, this checks all the boxes of petrified wood for me.
