Certainly an interesting idea...

Whether it is valid to compare the structure ratios of highly-derived modern birds with a creature that was more dinosaur than bird remains to be determined (and may never be).

Still, it would be interesting to assume it so and take a path of speculative research as to what the nocturnal prey-base might have been.

Still, it would be interesting to assume it so and take a path of speculative research as to what the nocturnal prey-base might have been.

Speculation and dreaming are the attributes to science which are rarely talked about. Usually dead ends, but on occasion can be the basis of breakthrough. I think this is an interesting concept, not sure if it will hold up very long but at least it is being examined in creative ways.
