Mommoth Carvings

Recommended Posts

I've been carving mineral material for many years. When able to get my hands on mammoth ivory, I've taken the time to find the right things to carve. Here are a couple of my carvings. The Polypterus ornatapinnis carving took over 2 years. The Triceratops took 6 months to finish. I have many others. I'll have to get some pics of them if anyone is interested.

I keep 17 species of Polypterus. Here's an ornate poly that the carving represents.
