Largemouth Bass
Around 1 inch (2.5 cm) in length. It has an apparent ribbed structure on one side. From the Potomac River in VA.
Fossil_Adult
It looks like a fragment of a cetacean (whale or dolphin) epiphysis unless you found this in the Aquia formation which would mean a random bone. Assuming it was miocene, I'm guessing whale/dolphin epiphysis.
Largemouth Bass
I have gotten cetacean teeth and several other epiphysis from the same spot. I believe they are from the Calvert formation.
