Hi. Another post from me about trilos!

I bought this a while back and it was labelled as Gerastos granulosus, but I have another of this species and it certainly isn’t that, ... any clues?

Some sort of Phacops ?

This large-eyed specimen appears to have a comparable number of eye lenses and vertical lens files similar to Austerops speculator (Alberti 1970). The attached lens diagram for A. speculator punctatus has the same number of vertical lens files and differs only by a few number of total lenses (103-117 vs 111-122). Because there are numerous phacopids from Morocco awaiting formal description, I would label it: aff. Austerops sp.
