ID this fossil?

Can you tell me what this is? The orange center breaks down to powder. Found in Hickory lick branch of Big creek in southern  Lincoln Co on Warren Co line.

Iron carbonate nodule. Likely limonite. 

Edit: Maybe I should say or limonite. Siderite being iron carbonate.

I`m with Rockwood and cannot see anything resembling  the morphology of anything once living.

Who'd a thought limonite would be the one with no lime in it ?

Very old but not part of something that was once living, aka not a fossil from what I can see.  The limonite I think is spot on.
