caimano
Hi all again, someone send me today these photos. Could someone confirm to me that this bone is a Spinosaurus Aegyptiacus caudal vertebrae? Sizes are visible from photos. I don't know from what bed formation it was find. Thank you very much.
caimano
Surely I'm wrong, but if it weren't so thin I'd say it looks remotely like the vertebrae of a Sauropod. It doesn't look like a spinosaurus tail vertebra to me. What do you think?
Troodon
It does not belong to a Spinosaurid. Possibly a Titanosaurid but we have little to compare against. Vertebrae(plural) Vertebra (singular)

kingspino
That would be an axis so neck bone pretty close to the head it is part of the atlas-axis complex where the head attaches to the neck. Based on the size it a dinosaur a croc would be different, if it was a sauropod it would be bulkier i would put my money on a big theropod. I wanna say it is a spinosaurid but i couldn't find a good picture of the neotype axis to compare it to. I would suggest you ask someone more informed.
