DMG
Found on San Juan Island, WA. Is this a fossil fish or a fluke? The rock looks igneous (diorite?) and I know igneous fossils are limited to casts/molds. It seems to have fins and a tail. If not a fossil, then what? Rockwood
Xenolith seems more likely.
Fossildude19
A bit of a different mineral that has adhered to the base stone. Unfortunately, not a fish fossil. 1 Tim - VETERAN SHALE SPLITTER VFOTM --- APRIL - 2015 __________________________________________________ "In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks."
