Hello, I hope someone here can identify what I found. I found this rock along the Little TN River and Tellico Lake last winter. This rock has what appears to me as a quarter size piece of coral.

Hello, and a very warm welcome to TFF from Morocco. :)

Yes, it might be a piece of a tabulate coral such as Halysites ( usually Silurian) or Syringopora ( more likely in the Carboniferous),

This does not look like a coral, to me.  :headscratch::unsure:
