Salutations from Garrett's Bluff, Texas

Hello all! I'm excited to join the group. I live in the Red River bottoms of Lamar County so not many fossils in the backyard but I am a short drive to Lake Texoma or the NSR. I took some wonderful geology classes at the University of North Texas in the mid 2000's taught by Dr. Reid Ferring. I started collecting the NSR in my teenage years and have had my "eyes to the ground" ever since.

I am in awe of the knowledge and photos I have seen on this site and I feel humble and grateful to be here!

Welcome from Illinois.

Fossil hunting is easy -- they don't run away when you shoot at them!
