Id? Travertine

Hi this was from a relatives porch and they had extras I kept it because of it’s unique looks. I kept it wondering what else it’s made of. Any help needed.

Check out Roman Travertine and you'll see that this is a typical form of this sedimentary stone, so it's not made of anything else, although there may be some small calcite crystals in the vugs and it might contain some mineral impurities in the veins.

Travertine tile. Very common and always very beautiful. (to rock nuts like us, at least).
