Callahan
All, Could any fossil or mineral experts look at these pics of rocks I just cut with my wet saw? seems to be pores like in bone or palm wood or so called gem bone. I don’t not have the knowledge nor experience in minerals or fossilized stuff. thought these rocks were petrified wood before cutting but no growth rings etc. nor don’t look like the local p wood we find in north tx. the gray stone smells of sulfur and pyrite. prob has pyrite in it. Could this be possibly be coporite Dino poop? Posted this before and was found in gray merle sediment loose shale clayish layer below limestone outcrop in creek. someone said by looking at my pics any recommendations are much appreciated and knowledge shared. provided pics of rock together and outside shots bryan
