Unfortunately, the weathering of this item appears severe, making it hard to pick out any distinguishing characteristics that would help come to an ID. Probably from later, however. The exact location of the find is composed primarily of marine sandstone and sedimentary rocks from the Miocene. What about it strikes you as mammal?
