I assumed this was tapir, but then saw a pic of dire wolf. Hoping......

Need a straight on view of the chewing surface.

I would be thinking tapir on this, though.

And a nice one with little wear and one of the two roots. The roots don't preserve as well as the enameled crowns and most tapir tooth finds tend to be rootless enamel caps but you have a nice specimen.
