Mosasaurhunter
Hello, I found these in a dirt road cut and I need help identifying them. Thanks in advance.
jpc
the third photo shows typical shrimp burrow patterns. The others are less obvious.
hemipristis
When we’d find these in Cretaceous deposits on the US East Coast, they were lumped into a catch-all “Callianassa” burrow . Callianassa is a genus of ‘mud shrimp’ Edited September 21, 2023 by hemipristis 'Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.' Mosasaurhunter
I’m hoping to find other stuff in that same area as well, in 1911 a Georgia geological survey report said there were shark teeth, bones, and a mosasaur tooth there.
