McKlakett
Hi everyone, I found this two fossils in Berriasian marl, in the Chartreuse mountains in France. I'm a bit struggling to identify them, I would be happy if somebody in here could help me. Thanks a lot for your help ! Arthur.
ClearLake
Maybe the bit of adhering matrix is confusing my eyes, but the second one looks like a crab claw. Are they possible out of that formation as I am not familiar with it at all? 1

FossilDAWG
To be a little more specific, they are some sort of ghost shrimp (callianassid). There are a lot of genera, and obviously more species in this group. It would be a challenge to identify your fossils more precisely from photos. McKlakett
Thanks for your help ! I couldn't find any pictures of callianassid fossils online, where this kind of texture/pattern was visible. Have you already seen this kind of pattern/texture on a callianassid fossil ? If yes could you share those picture with me ? Thanks again for your help !
