Seaweed? Ferns? or Wishful thinking?

Hi again. Today I would like help with these two very similar fossils I found in Lyme Regis UK many years ago.

They seem to be Mudstone from what I'm learning and have many boring worm holes on the outside of the rock.

The inside has triangular patterns with ripples which resemble plant forms.

Any help with a name would be much appreciated, so I can properly record my collection now. Thanks, Jes.

These are wonderful examples of Cone-In-Cone structures. Cool geologic oddities. Not fossils.

They appear to be common on the Jurassic coast.

Not fossils I'm afraid but cone-in-cone structure.

I did it again. I must be the best non-fossil finder. I will keep them as an example of what not to look for. Thanks for the education. Jes.

Thank you too. At least I know what they are now and I'll keep them as examples. Jes.

I'd definitely keep a few examples. They are quite cool looking.

If I ever find one, I will keep it.  :)
