Cretaceous tooth?

Mart1980

Recommended Posts

I found a tooth (?) of which it is completely unclear to me what it belonged to.

Facts:

Geologic age or geologic formation: Nekum Limestone. The Nekum Limestone is part of the Formation of Maastricht and dates from the last part of the Cretaceous, the Maastrichtian.

State, province or region found: Sibbe Limestone Quarry, Netherlands.

Can anyone help me further?

Interesting little find!

It reminds me of dermal denticles from rays and sawfish I've seen, especially with the ridges around the base.
