Terrygross
Dry Creek bed find. Very dense. I've cleaned it quite too heavily. It doesn't feel like any local stone that I'm aware. Initially believed it might be pet wood but more uncertain since I over did it. You rock!
fifbrindacier
Hi, i don't see any circular growth lines to suggest it is wood. Do you know the age of the layers that River crosses ? Tidgy's Dad
A layered nodule or concretion, methinks. 2 Life's Good! Tortoise Friend.
Terrygross
Not scroll coprolite? But nah, the ends are cut flat. But still, resembles fecal formation. Remember, I accidentally went to town with wire brush and diamond sanding/polishing. Regardless, it would repurpose into a kick butt handle to something. I thank any and all for offering input. Appreciate that very much!
rocket
Might be a type of quartz pebble..., not easy to decide. Could you see fine-structures at one end of the stone?

Psittacosaur9
You can see sedimentary rock layers in this photo. Does not look like a fossil to me.
