I know that this fossil is quite rare and valuable among trilobite fossils. Kane Posted November 18, 2023 Share Posted November 18, 2023 The cracks are a feature, not a bug, so to speak, as that is how they are found: as a thin side view of shell. They are then glued together and prepared. That said, this species is very commonly composited from parts. They can work magic in making it appear flawless.
