I visited the Quincy spot again, still with meagre finds but some were half-decent.

I of course found some more disarticulated thoracic segments but they’re not worth posting, I found too many.

Agraulid bits? The cranidium is probably a very badly preserved Skehanos quadrangularis.IMG_1111.thumb.jpeg.8a2c30993cd59b9dd5f2a1e268c98d96.jpegIMG_1109.thumb.jpeg.e596328f3f2001f5d1085f09983cdc8b.jpeg

Some Paradoxides harlani bits, the cheek is weird because the genal spine is somewhat stubby.IMG_5236.thumb.jpeg.b5b83a9a354480a320d3a038a0c0236a.jpegIMG_1103.thumb.jpeg.35b68f627a42aa3de08107d9b59a3be9.jpeg

A very nice cranidium, and a nice size too, ~11 cm between the palpebral lobes, 7 cm from the anterior border to the occipital lobe.IMG_5233.thumb.jpeg.06ea7a3a0caf616822843306105a4f48.jpegIMG_5234.thumb.jpeg.36a1c2d15629922b27afa9a38a218cd1.jpeg

A pretty large section of thorax, with seven lobes.IMG_1100.thumb.jpeg.1867ebdaec623b0e352eebdbb6d16ed1.jpegIMG_9049.thumb.jpeg.58bd7334ad8616e2bddfba13d380b532.jpeg

A little buddy.

It was nice, but the rocks are very fragmented so there is almost no chance for a complete specimen.

Wow I don't remember the salamander. It seems like the disarticulated thoracic segments we found were quite common is that the case?

Welcome to the forum.:)

It is a well-known fact that some species of salamander secrete a neurotoxin through their skin that causes people who handle them to forget them.

Which is why photographs are essential.

Oh, well I left the site before my friend Isotelus did so that probably is the reason why.

Yes, I found it after you left.
Also, I found this section of badly exposed thorax.IMG_1112.thumb.jpeg.1659adc9f3efa87501ab7dc6cb35c254.jpeg

On the side, there is a cross-section of a cranidium, which is kind of cool.
