FranzBernhard
Welcome to TFF from Austria! 1 + 2 are different gastropod steinkerns. 3 is a part of a steinkern of an ammonite. Franz Bernhard 1

Franz Bernhard Thanks, Franz!!such a quick response!! are you confident re p.3? The structure looks very intricate for an ammonite - with symmetrical mushroom-shaped curves… (I am not an expert though, referring to typical images of ammonites on Google)

The special shape of the suture could point to a particular genus, but I don´t know. I am a layman, too. @Ludwigia Thank you! Sorry, but I can't even guess the genus without more stratigraphic information. 2 2 Greetings from the Lake of Constance. The "object" in questions looks very fine-grained, even somewhat glassy looking with conchoidal fracture. There seems to be no clear distinction between the "object" and the matrix. I am leaning towards something geological, a chert layer or chert nodule, maybe? Franz Bernhard
