VladyslaV
Hey, found this fossil in canyon in the Carmel formation, Israel, lying loose on the surface. It, unfortunately, completely consists of chalk and is pretty fragile and not very clear, as a result. I suppose it's a some kind of a round shell. I really hope these photos will be good enough, it's not that clear because it all is just chalk. Do you have any guesses what it can be?
VladyslaV
According to the information I found on the Internet it should be from Cretaceous period.

Wow, that is my first ammonite, although not in the best condition... Should I try to expose it more or is it too dangerous to do something with the whole find being solid chalk?
