Hi so I'm completely new to all of this and what I found was by accident and thankfully I got bored with me and my son's fish tank substrate because I would of just threw this back in the dirt. Anyways I was collecting rocks for the fish tank and brought a bunch home an took the most like ones inside to put in the fish tank and left the rest outside well months later I wanted to change the tanks look so I went through the pile of rocks when I noticed one of the coolest things I ever found then after looking on Google I seen a picture and thought it looked like another rock I found hopefully someone could please tell me what I found and if it's a more of a common or hopefully rare find. I do plan on going to try and find more. Thanks  ( the first 9 pics are of what I found then the rest is what I found on Google

Quite a few pictures without numbering, but I can say I see spiriferid brachiopod in the first image followed by crinoid ossicle impression in the next.

Welcome to TFF from Austria!

You got it right at the first try! Congrats!

These fossils are super-abundant in certain areas, especially in some lower Paleozoic ones. So these marine fossils are very old.

Btw, the third one isn´t a fossil, but some regular veining in a rock.

I agree, 1 and 2 are  crinoid stem columnal impressions, and imprints of Mucrospirifer mucronatus brachiopods. These are quite common finds in the Mahantango formation, near Lancaster PA.

Your 3rd item is not a fossil, ... just a weathered piece of rock, with mineral veins exposed.  Looks like possibly some sort of metamorphic rock.

A side note: make sure you know what type of rock it is before you put it in a fish tank.  The minerals will effect the water and can kill a fish if you aren't careful.

My favorite things about fossil hunting: getting out of my own head, getting into nature and, if I’m lucky, finding some cool souvenirs.

Fossil hunting is easy -- they don't run away when you shoot at them!
