Not certain what this is.

May be our vivid imagination, but to us this seems to look like a petrified lizard/croc head of some sort, with one eye intact.

What interests me the most is the snake like skin. Feels like leather. The rock is very heavy.

Vivid imagination is correct 🙂.  This is just a rock, it doesn't have any of the details of fossil skull material.
