New Members Williamdunn54 Posted November 27, 2023 New Members Share Posted November 27, 2023 Hey all, I'm making a trip to Rocky Mount NC to visit some family and like going to Battle Falls, I have seen some shells along the bank of the river but wanted to ask if anyone knows if it's OK to collect teeth along the river. I know that they are there just not sure if it's ok to collect them.
hadrosauridae
The first thing you need to know is who owns or manages the land you want to search. The rules can change drastically. automech
Welcome to the Forum. If you care to drive about an hour and a half, southeast, check out the Aurora Fossil museum. They have a huge spoils pile from a local mine. And, it's loaded with teeth.

However, the occasional great white or mako can be found, You will need to go by boat to access the exposures unless you are granted access by landowners. The teeth (megs) are from the exposures at the bottom of the river.
