Looking for spots to find complete crinoids in indiana or surrounding states. I've done some door knocking in crawfordsville to no avail. Does anyone know where else to look or who to talk to?

Aren't we all.

Articulated crinoids are not easy to find and have monetary value, so I doubt anyone is going to share such sites. Your best best is to search the Ordovician in the Cincinnati region. Not too hard to find calyxes, and with research its not too hard to learn where to reliably find crowns.

And geological maps are certainly available on the web to help you in your research.

Crawfordsville is probably the best known location but mostly intact crinoids can be found other places.  Do some research and you will find possible locations.

In fact the crinoid in my avatar was not from Crawfordsville.  And my husband and I collected it back in the 1980’s
