Both of our dad’s introduced us to fossils 50 years ago-IA & TX. We have been very happy/shocked IMG_5263.thumb.jpeg.90a82d306cf14cb0c211e5852357ee8e.jpegto find some fossils very near us over the last 2 years. And in Minnesota!  hadrosaur toe? Fun to dream of what was here.

My favorite things about fossil hunting: getting out of my own head, getting into nature and, if I’m lucky, finding some cool souvenirs.

Welcome to the Forum.  :)

I don't think that is a hadrosaur toe. Looks like some sort of concretion, to me.

Welcome from another Minnesotan!!! Concretion would be my first guess. But when posting pictures, it is preferable to put some sort of measuring device along side the fossil in question. In addition, a little more specific location would be advised to post. Minnesota has formations dating from the Cambrian clear through the Cretaceous!!! These suggestions will allow forum members to provide you with the most accurate identifications.

Yes, what I used to call a snakeskin concretion.

Hello, Dee, and a very warm welcome to TFF from Morocco. :)

Welcome from Illinois.

Mark.

Fossil hunting is easy -- they don't run away when you shoot at them!
