Bobby Rico
To the beautiful people of TFF, I would like to wish you all a very merry Christmas. Please if you get a spare moment post your fossil gifts your received this holiday. This year MrsR purchased from the USA, for my prehistoric gift a wonderful unerupted Desmostylus tooth from California. Hippopotamus-like mammal lived during the Miocene 15.5 million years ago and had incredibly unique teeth. This is a rare opportunity for me to add one to my collection ( it also reminded me of Doren, as he introduced me to this goofy mammal). Desmostylus hesperus, Temblor Formation, California. minnbuckeye
Merry Christmas to you and MsR!!!! No picture to post. Just a Holiday Hello. Our Christmas gifts won't be opened until tomorrow. My son's flight home was cancelled yesterday due to fog in Chicago and he will not arrive until late today. Maybe tomorrow I can post a picture. Ludwigia
Same here. No fossils for Xmas, but I'm not crying, since I hardly have any space left now. I did however manage to win an auction of a very nice tiny shark tooth, but it hasn't arrived yet. Merry Christmas! 1 6 Greetings from the Lake of Constance. FranzBernhard
Merry Christmas! No fossil gifts here, no fossil outings either. Instead busily working on small field guide. Published only online and only 14 trips so far. Hopefully more to come next year, but nobody knows. So no pics to post. But I will be going on a hunt tomorrow so that will be a fossil gift to myself. 7 I like Trilo-butts and I cannot lie.

Fin Lover
Merry Christmas and happy holidays, everyone! My husband did buy me some cow shark teeth, but I am at family's right now and will have to post a picture later. 5 Fin Lover My favorite things about fossil hunting: getting out of my own head, getting into nature and, if I’m lucky, finding some cool souvenirs. Opabinia Blues
This quite-literally perfectly preserved Diplomystus dentatus I found in Kemmerer. Once the shale dried the it wasn’t quite as great as in the picture, but it’s still a gorgeous fossil! Caverat
I admit this is a purchase I made, but my wife and I agreed it'll be my Christmas present (and birthday and anniversary and etc....). I liked this guy because it has all of the components represented at least once and I kind of like the curve in the metasoma.
