Looks like schist. Can you take close-up pics of the specks on the rock?

Sorry I don’t have the rock anymore it was from a relative of mine that found it that showed me it tonight. Can’t take anymore photos.    It definitely had shiny mica elements looking closeup at it. Thank you.
