Unknown tooth? Woodbine/eagleford border

I’m hopeful that I have something special here. Hit me with your knowledge! I suspect it’s a tooth of some sort? In a creek along the eagleford/woodbine border in Dallas County, found this morning.

I think this is a cone-in-cone structure, so geological in origin I'm afraid... Your specimen reminds me of where I've seen them in the Cretaceous deposits of Western Queensland where they occur in thin layers like this.

Thank you! Just my luck..I always seem to get tricked into thinking I have something out of the ordinary. At least the ammonites on this trip made up for it! Thanks for the quick assistance.
