Saurolophus Jaw

Seller says this is a Saurolophus jaw. Is there anyway to identify? Is this legal to own as the species is form Mongolia?

I don't either.  And if it is from Mongolia, it is certainly illegal to export.

There was a post many years ago here (I think I started it, maybe)... 

Is it legal to own things that have been illegally exported out of Country X?

Seems too much trouble for me then unless I can confirm it's from an old collection I'm going to pass

The mongolian laws went into effect in the 20 or 30's so  "old collection" is unlikely.

Without a specific locality and formation not sure you can point to a specific hadrosaurid.

It's from the Nemegt Formation forgot to o mention that but yeah seems a bit sketchy
