Access to Port Mulgrave Beach?

I'm planning on visiting port mulgrave this summer but I have read multiple reports about the access to the beach which do not sound great. Could anyone describe to me what the situation is like right now and if there are any plans to fix the access before summer 2024?

The last i heard was in 2022, these steps from Cleveland Way trail, have been washed away by a land slip, so visitors need to use the rope if heading down to the beach. I don't know if the stairs was rebuilt last year. I have not been for many years .

Currently access is quite difficult due to lots of heavy rain causing the pathway down to slip and be very muddy. I would check closer to the time as it may be fine in summer when everything dries out. It could change quickly.
